Hi Guys
My wife and I put an addition on our home in the fall of 1987. At that time, we turned a little closet (4ft by 3ft) and built in enough racks to hole 160 bottles. I installed a Breezaire WK1060 at that time. Well, today I had to replace it, but I am very pleased with its long run. We had it for 28 years, and it worked great. The long and short of it is it costs us about $25 bucks a year to keep our wine in great condition. Fantastic product.

In the past 21 years, I have had my wine cooling unit with the Breezaire WKL 1060. This being my second unit, I could not be happier. These units are remarkably durable, to the point that I never had to have any service done. They definitely are worth the money and deserving of my 5 stars!

Just wanted you all to know. Add my name to the list of VERY HAPPY Breezaire customers. My last unit finally stopped working after 16.5 years of perfect service. I knew we were rolling the dice as the unit got older, so I bought a replacement about six months ago and kept it in its box until needed. Sure enough, the old unit passed away yesterday, and we easily replaced it in about an hour with the new one. Works like a champ.

Comments: I have owned 4 since 1997. For all of you who are old
enough to have watched Bonanza. This unit is a Hoss. One Caveat: Run it, Run it, Run it. I have two in case one breaks down (I live in the sub-topics, South Texas). My only breakdown is the backup. My primary unit is 10 years and running. Now you may get a $100 board or other little items to replace, but these things are made to run, run, run. You can't build and cool a wine cellar of 1000 SF for any less. NOT
possible. And I have built two.
Bottom Line: I would recommend this product.

Perfect for home wine cellar!

We bought this wine cellar cooling unit as a replacement for a different model that we had for about 5 years. So far, this is a much better unit. It functions as stated and keeps the temperature and humidity consistent. It was easy to install also. It is a little loud, but we cannot hear it outside of the cellar. It doesn't run all the time, so the noise really isn't a factor. Overall, we are very satisfied with this unit and would definitely recommend it.

I received the replacement control unit on Saturday and immediately installed it. The unit now seems to be operating properly. Over the last 72 or so hours, it brought the enclosure down to the pre-set temperature and is holding it to within + or - 1 degree.
Thanks to Karl, Marian, and the others at Breezaire who worked through these problems. If I'm still storing wine ten years from now, when this one reaches the end of its expected life, I will order another Breezaire from you.
And do you have a preferred website or rating service where I could post a review regarding your customer service? I would like to write a positive review and want to put it where it would do the most good.

We have a Breezaire 4000, which began leaking water recently. I called your service department this morning to get some idea of what could be the problem. Estevan answered the call and absolutely nailed the problem, and told us how to go about fixing it. I give kudos to him and your company for allowing me direct access to a technician and also for having one who is knowledgeable and helpful.

I want to thank the people who helped me with this order. The gentleman was spot-on when he thought my issue was the start capacitor/ relay rather than a bad compressor that had been determined by two businesses here in AZ. The parts were shipped very quickly, delivered on time, and packaged well. After an interesting adventure in moving the unit (the unit had been “concreted” in the opening on the outside), we found the area for the new parts and changed them out. Replaced the pop rivets and reinstalled them. The unit works like new, saving us lots of money!

This morning I spoke at length with Andrew regarding our WKL 1060. It had suffered a setback after a recent power outage. He instructed me on how to reset it by unplugging the unit for 15 minutes, then plugging back in. Let it run for 25 minutes before checking the readout. He also indicated that it may take more than one try. Well, it is working after the first try and is now down from 78 degrees to 67 in the last hour.
Many thanks to Andrew for his precise instruction, patience, and good sense of humor. In today’s world of automated responses, delayed help, and YouTube reliance, it was ever so refreshing to talk with someone at your company after calling just one number. No hold pause because of “unusually high call volume,” leave a message, and we might call you back before the end of the year, nor inpatient call center employee who only has a set script to follow.
Please be sure to let Andrew know how much his help is appreciated.

Good unit
Bought this to replace a same-sized older model cooling an under-stairs wine closet. Easy to install, working well. Digital temp readout is a great improvement over older models. Only wish it were quieter, but all I have heard are noise. Delivered promptly with free shipping as advertised.

Hello,
I have purchased 2 WKL1060's over the years. 10 years ago, was the first purchase. It performed perfectly in our wine cabinet while we owned the house.
Our second purchase was for our new house 5 years ago. I did not shop around. I did not check any other prices. I knew your unit would do the job and was what I wanted.
Recently a fan failed my WKL. I filled out the online ordering form, paid the very reasonable cost and 2 days later the fan showed up. Great service!
It was an easy repair job pulling the cover and installing the new fan
